The ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) from Greencut is a transfer switch system used to automatically start an electric generator when the main power supply is interrupted. Thus, when there is a power cut, the ATS500T unit sends a signal to the generator to start operating, and when it detects that power has been restored, the unit also stops automatically.
The main advantage of using an ATS is that you don’t have to worry about switching on the generator when the mains power goes out, as the ATS system does it for you. It is a very important safety feature to bear in mind when installing a secondary power supply, as it reduces the risk of short circuits.
The ATS500T three-phase transfer switch operates at a current of 20A, with a dual voltage range of 200–240V/380–440V and a frequency of 50Hz. It is also very easy to install.
